Back in 1984, Hip-Hop culture's presence was undeniable. Besides the short lived "Graffiti Rock" TV show and Michael Jackson doing a B-boy inspired 'moonwalk' at the Grammys, one of the year's standout's was the Swatch Watch Fresh Festival concert tour. The 27 date tour featured rap heavyweights, Run-D.M.C., Kurtis Blow, Whodini, the Fat Boys, Newcleus and the Dynamic Breakers. The Fresh Fest was a huge success, raking in 3.5 million bucks and making it Hip-Hop's first big moneymaking tour. Our ATW Fresh Fest tee commemorates the legendary tour and a time in Hip-Hop when "fresh" was definitely the word.
